Community Women's Education Project - Workstart
GENERAL INFORMATION
Description of Service Provides a free, intensive program designed for adults who need to work but are not sure what kind of job or training they need. Provides Adult Basic Education with a career exploration component that gives students the opportunity to select an internship at a local business or non-profit agency in the Kensington/Frankford area. Workstart will also help TANF (welfare) recipients with their independent job search. On-site, reasonably priced child care is available.
