Free Library of Philadelphia - Science in the Summer - Bushrod Branch

GENERAL INFORMATION
Description of ServiceThis free program introduces students to the fun of science through one week sessions and special two day sessions. Certified teachers will lead students through experiments during sessions at 52 branches. Classes are held for two age groups through morning and afternoon sessions. This year's topic is paleontology (dinosaurs and fossils). Different branches will host this program on different weeks throughout the summer. Call the individual library for specific dates and times.

Intake ProcedureRegistration continues until one week prior to the beginning of classes. Parents must come, in person, to register children at the library they wish to attend. Class participants will be chosen by lottery. All children must be pre-registered to attend.
