Help Your Neighbor Prepare Their Home for Spring!

The Northeast Naturally Occurring Retirement Community needs volunteers to help older adults prepare their homes for the warmer months.

Tasks may include:

• Removing weather seals from doors and windows
• Taking down storm windows
• Putting in window screens
• Uncovering window air conditioning
• Replacing hard-to-reach light bulbs and smoke detector batteries
• Minor repairs
• Cleaning and reorganizing kitchens, basements, and garages
• Yard work

Volunteer groups will meet at the Northeast NORC office at 10am, 12pm, or 2pm, to be given their assignments, and supplies. Families with school-age children are welcome. Parents or guardians must accompany children under the age of 16. To sign up call 215-320-0351.
