Save Money on Groceries through a Healthy Savings Study
The University of Pennsylvania is working with ACME on a research project to learn more about healthy shopping and eating. They are looking for participants to share their shopping habits.
Participants will receive:
- Compensation for each study visit
- Additional savings or discounts on groceries
The study will last 12 months and participants will be asked to:
- Download a Healthy Savings Program app and scan the app/card at the register each time they shop at a participating ACME supermarket.*
- Complete a total of 3 study visits at a participating ACME store
- At each of these visits, they will:
- Complete surveys for themselves and one child in your home.
- Have their height and weight measured
You qualify if you:
- Are 18 years of age or older
- Speak English
- Do most of your food shopping at a store* below
- Receive or are eligible to receive SNAP benefits/Food Stamps
- Have a child aged 2-17
- Have a working smartphone
