THE SPRING 2020 YARD TREE GIVEAWAY HAS BEEN CANCELLED DUE TO CONCERNS REGARDING THE SPREAD OF COVID-19
Philadelphia is transforming into the City of Arborly Love, one tree at a time! Each spring (April to May) and fall (October to November), TreePhilly works with community groups across Philadelphia to distribute free yard trees through our Community Yard Tree Giveaway Program. Yard trees provided through this program must be planted in the ground on private property in Philadelphia. Yard trees may not be planted in a container or in the sidewalk or public right-of-way. Register online or over the phone and choose between a variety of trees, including fruit trees! Free mulch and demonstrations on tree planting and care will be available at each event.
Plan to pick up your tree at 2:00 pm on Sunday, April 19, 2020. All trees unclaimed by 4 pm, will be made available to registrants on the waitlist.
