Celebrate Immigrant Heritage Month with these International Recipes

June is Immigrant Heritage Month! Start a new tradition by embarking on a culinary expedition in your own kitchen! Try cooking any of these family-friendly recipes shared by our neighbors to celebrate a few of the cultures that enrich our community.

Cook and post to social media for a chance to win an international chef gift basket!

1. Register for the #SpiceDashChallenge below
2. Pick a recipe (or several) to try cooking
3. Purchase your ingredients from one of the immigrant-owned grocery stores offering #SpiceDash coupons for June
4. Make your chosen dish(es)
5. Take photos and or videos along the way and share them on social media including the hashtag #SpiceDashChallenge, tag @solelyOC, and mention the participating grocery store you purchased ingredients from ex: "Accepting the #spicedashchallenge to celebrate immigrant heritage month with @occphilly by cooking Patacones with ingredients from Ecua Fresh!"

Each dish you post made with ingredients from the participating grocery stores is another entry for the gift basket of hard to find spices. Be sure to make your posts by June 29. The contest drawing will take place on June 30. Be sure to sign up below!
